Butterick 6330 - Maxi Dress

One thing Me Made May has shown me, I need more maxi dresses, you know those easy to throw on dresses but still look chic and stylish.  I have one that is my go-to dress and decided to make another one from the same pattern.

Hot Patterns Metropolitan Bouvier Jacket in Mood Fabrics' Stripe Linen

Talk about a fun fabric, this Mood Fabrics’ Italian Striped Linen is just that.  This is a double-faced fabric with rust and taupe stripes on one side and the other it is taupe-rust.  I fell in love with the awning stripe and had to have it.  I really wasn’t sure what I was going to make and then I decided a jacket with some shaping, no closures and some interesting details.

I have exciting news to share with you and finally I can!  I am a Pfaff Brand Ambassador and I am so honored.  My first announcement was on Instagram and Instagram stories.  Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments, I really appreciate it so much.

I have the Pfaff Creative Icon and the PREMIER+ 2 ULTRA Software to use and sew/embroidery new things.  The ideas are just flowing in my head and I need to start writing them down!  I will be sharing garments and other projects that have sewn and/or embroidered.  I have an idea of what that first one will be and I can't wait to get started.

Last night I spent a couple of hours with my new machine and a few of the features (there are so many)  and I am in total amazement.  One thing for sure, this is going to be so fun!

SImplicity 1465 - Floral Stretch Sateen

Want a to know something about my pattern collection?  Well, here it goes, I have two skirt patterns, one is the Sewaholic Gabriola and Simplicity 1465.  Can you believe that?  I will have to start looking at skirt patterns and add a couple to my collection.
