Cluck Cluck Sew - Tahoe Quilt

Cluck Cluck Sew Tahoe Quilt pattern in blues and greens

A quilt for my oldest daughter for her birthday, the first quilt she has asked for and I was so happy to make it for her.
In January we went to a local quilt shop to pick out fabric for this quilt,

She changed out the fabric color layouts and I really love the gold squares between the blocks.

The fabric for the back was found in the sale section at Hancock's of Paducah and it is perfect for the quilt.

I do send my quilts to a local long arm quilter, who does a beautiful job.

I did put this quilt on Instagram about a month ago but I really like to document my makes on the blog, so here it is.

The fabrics are a mix of quilting cottons and batiks. The background fabric has a metallic shimmer to it, making a striking contrast with the blues and greens.

One more look at this quilt.  Did I get it finished before her birthday?  No,  I missed it by 21 days, so I think that is pretty good.

  1. Beautiful quilt Lori! I am sure she will treasure not only the quilt, but the time spent together doing the planning and fabric selection.
