Gift Sewing - Boy sewing

Yes, I made another one of these cute coats and a couple more garments for my 2 month old grandson!
So keep reading to see what all I made for the new little man.

So here is my first coat for a granddaughter and it is just so cute.  I wanted to sew something a bit different for this little guy.   So I went with three different patterns.  The overall pattern is Made by Jack's Mum - Over it Alls  It was so quick to make, I omitted the front patch pattern piece.  I felt simpler was better.  These were made in size 3 months, the overalls fit nicely and a bit more growing room.

I went with Brindille & Twig Bodysuit pattern and I love all the details for that pattern.  This was also made in a 3 month size and it is tight on my little man.  I used a KAM press for all my snap and I just used what I had on hand.   I invested in this press when my first grandchild was born and have not regretted it one bit.   I didn't notice this until writing this blog post - look at the snaps - on the eyes of the fox!  LOL

The fabric for this outfit is from Joann's and was so lucky to find these two that go together.  My Joann's has very little fashion fabric in stock at this time.

Last up the is the hat - a freebie Top Knot hat  I went between the NB and 3 month size.  This was so tight on him but it looked so cute for pictures.

Now back to the coat.  Stripe denim from Joann's and I used leftover denim for previous overalls for the details.  The lining is a selvage piece from Style Maker Fabrics.

The stripe denim is thick and didn't work for the pockets, just too many layers.  I pulled out that lightweight denim and it was perfect.  Plus I love the contrast.

The khaki snaps were the only choice in my box and they work perfectly with the lining.

Not much more to say about this jacket other than I love it and he will look so cute on it.

This jacket even with all the details really is quick to sew.

Stay tuned - 4 more garments coming all gifts, one each for my four daughters.

But not long, I later discovered that my lover was having an affair with someone else. and also she told me she doesn't need me after all we pass through then a friend told me about a spell caster. that with the spell I will get back my woman, I took his cell number then called him and also what's-app him which he reply to me and I did some sacrifices to the spell man and he bought the items for me which he used for the sacrifices and later called me that before 48 hours my love will come back to me and now we are more in love with each other than ever. you can reach him on WhatsApp +2347012841542 or reach him via mail ; emutemple@gmail.com , my lover returned back and broke up with the other guy she was having a relationship with...
