Scout Tee

Scout tee made with a Joann's tencel fabric

Just a quick Scout Tee to help my spring/summer wardrobe

The Scout  Tee is my favorite for this style and I have made it many times before.  These previous makes include woven and knit fabric.

The fabric is a tencel fabric from Joann's, it has a really nice hand and I love the color.  This top is so quick to make and looks so good.  I am participating in Me May Made, posting on Instagram.  Sunday, I did not wear any of my own handmade wardrobe.  There is a reason for this and I noticed it last May and did not  correct the problem.  I really, really need short sleeve shirts, particularly knit tops.  I have a stack of recently purchased knits which next week are going to become knit shirts, using mainly three patterns - The Briar, The Renfrow and McCall's 6964.  After the knits, then some woven short sleeve tops and then some shorts.

  3. I've been really happy with Dear & Doe's Plantain. I may have to give the Scout a try though.
