Simplicity 4076 in Wrap Style

Yes, you read that right, Simplicity 4076 for the ump-teenth time!  This time it isn't for me, it is for Erin.

The fabric is from Joann's, something I had in my stash.  I had intended a top for me but Erin really needs some new clothes.

Here are the gathers on the side seam.

A side view of the top.

This really fits Erin nicely and will look good with a new pair of navy pants she bought on clearance.  No, Erin will not model any of the garments, I have asked time and time again.  Oh, well, the dressform does a good job.

  2. I cannot find nice knits at my JoAnn's. This is a pretty print. If the style works make one in every color!! Actually when a pattern works you just have to keep sewing it.

    1. Linda, I really had to hunt for this one. I am with you, if it fits and works, keep using it.

  3. Love that top! I don't see anything wrong with making the same pattern over and over. Different fabrics and most people can't tell it's the same pattern. g

    1. Thank you, and I agree most people who don't sew can't tell they are the same pattern.

  5. I really like this style and I bet Erin will love this top! I have this same fabric. I made Skirt as Top's Scoop tee this past summer with it. I love the combination of blue and green. I can't wait to see how your bomber jacket turns out.
