One Yard Wonders - Apron

My niece has gotten into cooking and has been taking classes at her local grocery store in the city. My sister-in-law suggested her own cooking or baking supplies and then I suggested an apron. So out came my new book:

And it a short time, I had this for her present, it is such a cute apron and easy and quick. I measured my 18" doll form (American Girl doll size) and made an apron for her doll. She still really likes her dolls and whenever I make her something I always make something for the

doll(s).

Here is a close-up of the doll apron.

Now to clean house and then I am sewing a muslin for this, minus the ruffle (McCall's 5717)

  1. This is an adorable apron. My mom makes doll clothes for the 18" size dolls for an annual craft show in my hometown. She has been making matching apron sets and they are a big hit with the girls.
Your's turned out so cute and I love the fabric.

  3. I love that pattern and I like this apron. That looks like a cool book. I have tons of 1 yards. I always think...what am I going to do with only 1 yard of this?
