True Bias Marlo Sweater

This has been a project in the works for about 6 months but so happy it is finished and I can enjoy it this fall.

I purchased the Marlo Sweater quickly after True Bias released the pattern, the  look of the garment was my style and I knew I would love it. I made this pattern first for the Style Maker Fabrics Spring Tour

I had fabric and ribbing in my stash from ISEE Fabric so it was easy to get started.  In March, I made the cropped version with an extra 2 inches added and the garment went together quickly. I did make a trip to Joann's for buttons and I was ready for buttonholes.  This is when my Marlo stopped moving forward.

I made a size 4 and added 1-1/2 inches to the body length and and inch to the sleeves.

I was finishing another project and got too close to my zipper teeth and broke my sewing machine.  With everything happening in the world, the part needed for my machine was delayed.  By the time I got the machine back, summer heat was in full force and I had no desire to finish the cardigan.

The Marlo sat in the UFO pile and when the cooler September weather hit, I grabbed it and my buttons and finished my cute cardigan.  I did use stabilizer behind my buttonholes to add some stability to these very long buttonholes.  Next time I will do the stabilizer and do a corded buttonhole.  I have a tutorial here for a corded buttonhole.

I need to order more fabric and matching ribbing for a couple more of these.  In addition to ISEE Fabric, Style Maker Fabrics has Bamboo sweatshirt fleece with matching bamboo ribbing.

True Bias instructions are always complete and easy to follow with nice illustrations.  I always have great success with these patterns.  Another feature for each True Bias pattern is a sewalong for their patterns.  Click here for the Marlo sewalong

  2. I started the year with a bad credit score, lingering debts and derogatory record which affected my ability to finance a new home, including a new car. I tried a few credit restoration firms but all were abortive until I saw a post about HACK VANISH CREDIT SPECIALIST. I reached out to them and surprisingly they helped cleaned-up my derogatory and raised my FICO score to 782 across all three bureaus, within a short period of time I got qualified for a new home, and also purchased my dream car. Anyone with related issues can reach out to them for assistance via [Hackvanish @ Gmail. Com] or Phone: (2 0 9 ) 3 3 0 - 3 0 4 7.
