Pfaff Creative Icon Embroidery for Jacket

Embroidery created in Premier +2 Embroidery Ultra Software

Let's talk about the embroidery for my Jacket, I was able to use some existing designs in my collection to combine for this perfect design.

This design was created for my McCall's 7365, part of the Style Maker Fabrics' Fall Blog Tour.  In this blog post I wanted to explain how I created this embroidery design in Premier +2 Embroidery Ultra Software.  I wanted a design that was similar to the florals in my top.

Here is a design I had purchased about a year ago, the rose is very similar to the rose in the fabric for my top.

I did not want the rosebud, so with the Modify option (more details later in blog post), I was able to eliminate that part.

Here is the design without the rose bud.

Next I wanted to add another flower, to bring in the mustard from the shirt and I went with this Encore design.  Only problem is I only wanted the small part of the design, so into Modify I went to eliminate part of the design.

I used the freehand select to draw around the small flower.  Then I use the cut feature and put it on the clipboard, paste this in home and see if I need to clean anything up.

I did get a few stitches of the green stem but no worries, I can use the select stitch in Modify to get just those stitches and delete those

After I get the flower all cleaned up, I copy and paste it into my first rose design.  I did a bit of rotating to get it just where I wanted it.

Notice I did add a few more leaves, I did that by cutting out the bottom leaf and adding it in a few more places.

I just wanted to share this so when you start designing for a new embroidery design, take a look at what you have.  The Premier +2 Software makes it so easy to create, design and modify, with this in mind your embroidery designs can be so unique for your project.
