Baby Quilts

I have been on a roll making lots of baby quilts.   I like to keep several on hand for presents and my girls like to give my quilts as presents. Today's blog post are the baby quilts I have made over the last three months.

First off a boy quilt.  Some polar bear fabric and using my gray stash fabric makes an cute and easy quilt.

Next a pink and white quilt which the pink and pattern came in my Sew Sampler box

Number three came from the Sew Sampler box, too.  This one was a Moda Pre-cut called Jolly Bars and a booklet was included in the box also.

Next up my old stand-by pattern, Colorblock Quilt (pattern here).  This quilt has been gifted, to a coworker's grandson. The fabric came from my local quilt shop just before she closed.  I did quite a bit of shopping that last month and I have a nice selection of quilting fabric!

I used all the scraps I had left and made the binding from those scraps.

Now for the next to the last quilt, another girl one and the fabric came from Sew Sampler Box again.
I found the pattern in one of my books but sorry I don't remember it.

This is a very soft and pastel quilt with not much hue variation in the color families.

Lastly, this one is from a fat eighth bundle from Sew Sampler again.  I found this pattern on Pinterest and didn't save it.  I really am going to have to take better notes!  Sorry

I had this one quilted in a hexie pattern, finding inspiration from the top corner above and the cute hexie fabric.

I have a nice selection now but still need more boy quilts.  The other night I could not sleep and headed to my sewing loft.  Instead of turning on the machine, I just got out my quilting books and my fabric.   The books provided inspiration and I started cutting quilts, baby and queen size quilts.  I have them nicely organized in storage containers.  These containers make it easy to pull out a project for home or on Wednesday nights with my sewing friends.

  1. These are such cute quilts. Like you I sew both quilts and garments making quilts as an easy break from sewing fitted garments. For me, it's all about the fabric so there's no fancy/heirloom quilts coming out of my studio. Your girls are so lucky they can count on you to have a ready stash of baby quilts. Thanks for sharing.
Do you take a sewing machine to your Wednesday sewing group?

  3. They are all so pretty. I love the simple blue and white one. Sometimes the simplest patterns are so pretty.

  5. HOW YOU CAN RECOVER YOUR LOST CRYPTO/FUNDS: Lost hope in a crypto scam? I got my $394,330 back! I invested $430,000 in a bogus crypto site. Big returns promised, withdrawals blocked, extra fees demanded – it was a nightmare. Feeling trapped, I even considered the unthinkable. My family helped me through it, and my niece suggested HACKERSTEVE911. They'd helped her with grades, but I'd never thought of them for this. I contacted them, expecting little. But within four days, they recovered $394,330 back to my wallet! My hope, my life, was back. If you're in a similar situation, don't lose hope. Contact them on hackersteve911@gmail.com
