Luxe Sweatshirt using Burda Style 11/2012 #128

Luxe Sweatshirts seem to be everywhere and they look like a style I would enjoy wearing.  I hunted around for a pattern and went with Burda Style 11/2012 #128, which you can dowload from the Burda Style website.

I wanted to make a muslin for my first try at this, using a small leftover piece from Teal and Black Lacey Brocade shirt back in August.

I only had enough fabric for the front of the luxe sweatshirt and went with black interlock from Joann's for the rest.

It is pulling a bit funny in the picture but I just don't have it pulled down.  I have worn it without the chambray shirt but I like the look of the chambray.

This Burda Style pattern is pretty wide and very dropped sholders and very low armholes.  So take all that into account if you make this pattern.  One thing with the interlock in the back, you can make the sweatshirt a bit more fitted, since you have the stretch in the back.

I have made another one of these and will post in a day or two how this one looks.

  3. Love the color. With the cooler weather finally arriving that would certainly get a lot of wear in my wardrobe.

  8. Lori I really like this sweat shirt. I have had mixed feelings about this style because it can look so over sized. I think the version you made looks more fitted. I would wear it!! I love the front fabric.

  9. Be careful of crypto platforms promising huge returns. They lure people into fake programs. I was scammed 198,450 USD last year. While researching on how to recover my funds, I came across several recommendations on the Bitcoin Abuse Forum about HACKERSTEVE. I contacted him via his email on hackersteve911@gmail.com, and he helped me recover all my funds. If you've also been a victim of financial scams, don't hesitate to get in touch with STEVE.
