A Bag Giveaway

No not the one from the Super Online Sewing Match, I am keeping that one!

It is a sample I made for my local quilt shop
(aka Lily's Mom) and the pattern is something I just made.

It isn't a big bag, think a school notebook would fit perfectly.  The rick rack is another pocket, divided in half.

There is a pocket in the inside also divided in half.  The closure is a magnetic snap.

If you would like a chance to win this bag, leave a comment and like my Facebook page.  It is the little icon right below with the "f".  You can also follow me on Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram - all the buttons below.

I will draw for the winner next Friday, I need some cheer, the twins go to college next week! I think I might be a little sad

  7. Cute bag, Lori! Wasn't it just yesterday that we were sewing for little kids on the Sew4Kids list? Now, look at you, a new little person to sew for and you're own babies leaving the nest. Hope they're not going to be far.

Sending you lots of hugs. Great bag but don't include me in for the draw. Just thought I'd send you some hugs.

  10. That bag is so cute! Any chance you might put together a tutorial -- for all those who don't win? If I were to win this drawing, I know just the young friend I would give this bag to. After examining it very closely and measuring it every which way, to say nothing of trying to figure out how you made that flower on the front of the bag. See? We need a tutorial! Thanks!

  13. It's a lovely bag. I don't have a facebook account and I'm not about to start one, so.....

Are both the girls going to the same college? How close to home? It will be quiet in your house next week. Hang one. g

  14. Adorable bag. Liked your FB page as well. Boy, I don't envy you. One child going to college is hard enough, but TWO!! Hopefully they are going to school locally so you can grab them for lunch occasionally.

  15. My youngest goes to college next week as well. Even though she is only going 3 miles down the road, we know it just isn't the same. My husband hung up his ball glove after 20 years of playing catch and coaching. And after 20 years, I had my last fair with my kids. I will miss sewing with all of those 4H kids. I wish you girls the best of luck as they start a new adventure. And many hugs to you as you adjust to your empty nest! :)

  16. Love your blog and following you and your family. Kids do grow up, bittersweet. Our youngest and only one at home will be a junior next year. We are starting to miss her already. She is a 4-h sewer and won best construction and modeling in our county this year. I did like your Facebook page. Thanks for sharing your talents and abilities with us!

  21. What an adorable bag. I'd like to enter if you're taking international entries. Next month my only child is off to an exchange year abroad and it's too far away to visit. I can't imagine what it would be like if two were going at the same time.
