Graduation Day

I hope it was a very Happy Mother's Day to all.  My day was involved with all things graduation.

A few pictures at the house before graduation
Kaitlyn

Meredith
Then a very proud mom moment.....

Meredith was Salutatorian of her class and Kaitlyn was Valedictorian of her class (tied with 3 other girls - perfect 4.0 GPA)
Meredith on the left, Kaitlyn on the right
They join their older two sisters graduating with honors:
Paige -class of 2005 and valedictorian (pre-blogging)
Erin - class of 2008 and valedictorian

These four girls did this on their own with hard-work, dedication and perseverance. As parents we supported, encouraged and emphasized school is very important.

So it was a very Happy Mother's Day and a very proud one too.

Congratulations! I was wondering why your daughter had two different pictures with different dresses, yet I realised that you have two daughter (twins?), they really look like each other on these pictures ;). I really like your blog! Wish you all well, kind regards from The Netherlands. (In advance, my apologies for any linguistic errors)

  17. After so many enjoyable times (and so much sewing motivation) listening to your 'cast, I feel I know those two girls very well. And that makes it a real pleasure to see the results of their efforts - and yours as well!

  23. I've only recently begun reading your blog, and I am so late to be commenting, but I couldn't resist. I have twin girls, too, and my oldest daughter is named Meredith! (They are 3, 3, and 5 years old... or will be, by the end of June.)

Congratulations to your daughters' great accomplishment! I can only imagine how proud you must be of your family.
