Another Tote Bag

Another bag - Variation on the Charm Pack Bag- this one made with the Botany line from Moda.  I used one of their pre-cuts, a jelly roll and just started sewing and cutting.

The first day of school today, my babies are Sophomores, how did that happen?

I finished another tote today and another just needs lining.  Plans in my head floating around for 2-3 more then back to garment sewing, sometimes I just can't stop!

  1. great tote. I take it that a sophomore is a first year university student?

  2. Sewing bags and totes is so fun, I think because they are small and quick and offer a great avenue for creativity. Your girls look so grown-up! Just you wait, not long before you will be an empty-nester...which is just where I'll be after Sunday when we move our youngest of four kids off to college. I expect to miss him lots!

  9. Such a lovely pic of your princesses. I love the bag... You make them seem so effortless. Do you use a special thread for sewing the several layers. It looks like the bag has diagonal stitches and if so did you use your embroidery machine?
