Butterick 6720 - Construction and inside

I have been working on this Butterick 6720 for about two to three weeks.  It has been off and on with life and the holidays.

Here is the line drawing.  My only change is I added one inch to lower the waist.

My fabric is this Mood Fabrics Italian Wool/Cashmere Coating.  It is so amazing and the most expensive fabric I have ever sewn.

This coat has no buttons, just a belt, so I wanted to show you the insides.  I am by no way an expert on any tailoring and thought I would share my online resources.

I found this site Today's Agenda by Gail a couple years back.  It is such an amazing resource for coat making and tailoring, in fact, I printed out the blog posts and put them in a binder.  I used Gail's info to make Vogue 1467

Here are a few more sites that I find helpful

Now there is always books, too

Here is the back

Leave a comment if you want me to list another site, book or class and I will happily add it.

Thanks and yes my coat needs a lint brush!  LOL

Now I am off to work on it.
