Jack-o-Lanterns

We carved our pumpkins tonight. See our cute kitten in the background?

The twins had a costume party at youth group tonight. One went as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, dressed for the first day of law school. She even had a stuffed dog in a big bag! Oh, yes a pink scented resume, too. This daughter made a black pencil skirt for this outfit, simple tube with an elastic waist but it was perfect.
The other twin? One eye painted black and a t-shirt with a large "P", can you guess? It was her dad's idea and she won second place in the contest for best costume.

  3. Love your pumpkins! I just didn't get it done this year. I keep telling myself that one of these years I will carve one.

Those costumes sound wonderful! How fun that your one daughter won a prize, too. :)

  7. I have to agree that first pumpkin is awesome! What a lot of patience to cut out that design. We haven't even done any jack o lanterns yet. Maybe tonight, if I can squeeze it in.

    Great costume idea too. ;)

Ah yes, the Black-Eyed Pea. DH has been that on several occasions.

Cute pumpkins (and jumping ahead) - great jacket.
