Catching up on projects with this Traverse Bag I made from Style Maker Fabrics' for the Sew Expo
The Traverse Bag comes in two sizes, the regular and mini, this one is the regular size.
I made this for Michelle's booth at the Sew Expo in March and let me tell you this is a quick bag to make.
The best part is Michelle sent me everything I needed for the bag, linen for the outside, a great Japanese fabric for the inside, beautiful stripe trim for the handle, tassels for the zippers.

Don't you just love that stripe for the long crossover strap?
I used a snap for the pocket and I re-purposed the d-rings and slider from a purse I never used anymore.

Here is the cute lining fabric.
Another look at the piping and those stripes!
A close-up and I see a couple of threads I didn't trim! oops. I did not have two matching zippers, so I used a matching one for the outside pocket and a black one for the top zipper. It worked just fine.

After the Expo, Michelle sent the garments and purse back to me. The purse didn't stay with me long, Meredith claimed it right up! Thanks Michelle for letting me a part of this.
What a cute bag! I love it!! Thanks.
