Simplicity 1499- Jacquard Knit

The temperatures here have been so mild, which is nothing to complain about at all.  The above normal temperatures call for a garment perfect for the nice weather.  A new vest using Simplicity 1499  and the perfect match, Mood Fabrics' Italian Cobalt Blue Paisley Jacquard.  This knit is just a bit heavier and full of texture.   These two fabric features made it a good choice for my vest.

New Look 6530 - Ponte and Stripe Knit

Recognize this fabric?  I am guessing yes, as this is the third garment I have made from some of this fabric.

Blackwood Cardigan in Mood Fabrics' Pique Knit

I needed another a Blackwood but this time in the shorter length.  It is just such a great pattern.

Vogue 9227 - Stripe Knit

Vogue 9227 has been on my list to make since it first came out.  This shirt came about after two fabrics just fell together when I was planning some knit seperates

Burdo 6458 - Cotton Voile

I am still really enjoying the year of the sleeve!  This time a Burda pattern, which I don't sew very often but should look at them more often

The wedding is over, last daughter of four is married and it was so beautiful.  I promise pictures soon!
