Friday Fashion Inspriation - 43

Hello again, ready to be inspired?

The first is Talbot's dress that was suggested by Elizabeth

New Look 6428, scoop the neckline and you have it, even pockets.  You could layer it with your favorite shirt.

Layering pieces are good for transition time and I love the stripes on this jacket- Talbot's again

Vogue 1465 would make a bit more structured one

A popover stripe shirt from Talbot's and for spring the no collar is nice

I think the Natalie top at Indiesew is a perfect match

How so you feel about the jumpsuit trend?  Here is a cute one - Talbot's again and the pleats are nice

I love when you do these inspiration posts. I see so many things I like in RTW and just know I can make them in better quality at a less expensive cost. Right now I have a bridal alteration under the needle due this Sunday, and after that, I'm making 3 Clara maternity tee's for my DIL who's due with g-baby #3 in Oct. She loved this top and I found some thick solid jersey at Hancock's in royal blue, yellow like the image on Megan's website, and teal. She looks like the model too so I can't wait to see her in them. Enjoy your day! http://megannielsen.com/collections/maternity/products/ruched-maternity-tshirt-sewing-pattern

  3. Love the color blocked t-shirt I could use up some leftover knit fabric will have to check my stash. Love the Talbot red dress but as an office manager for a construction company my work attire is more casual I don't get to wear a dress very often.

  4. I like others enjoy Friday Inspirations. The pants with the color blocked top in yellow with blue stripes are similar to these New Look denim pants- http://tinyurl.com/hukp962. I like the seaming on the Talbot's pants better. Look forward to next Friday!

  6. Deep down inside I want to make that Simplicity jumper. It's great! And the Talbot's jumper looks simple and elegant and not too "young". Thanks for these Friday posts. Love them.

  7. Love this inspiration post! The New Look pattern is an exact copy of the Charlene boatneck dress from Lilly Pulitzer. I have had that dress pinned forever to my Pinterest inspiration board and now I know that the pattern exists. Thanks Lori!
