Basic White Archer Shirt

Girls in the Garden Basic White Cotton Grainline Archer Shirt
Yes, I made the Archer again - this is lucky number 9, if my count is correct.  I really needed a nice basic white shirt in my wardrobe and I knew the Archer was just the pattern.
I used this Mood Fabric's American Made white Cotton Shirting, which stitched perfectly.  The only thing I wish is I could find a white shirting which did not require a camisole.  My girls said get over this mom, just wear a camisole.  Okay, I am over it!

There really isn't too much more I can say about this pattern.  I guess to say I love it would be the best thing to say.  Here are the previous makes.  The navy polka dot is my favorite and this paisley one gets the most compliments

Wait....... I do have one thing to say.  On the pattern instruction sheet I put down the measurement from the collar band to the bottom of the buttonhole at my bustline.  I also include the measurement between buttonholes.  This helps to speed up the sewing process, I don't have to try on and mark each time I make one.

I feel like I have a nice set of white shirts now, this new Archer and my Butterick 6208.

What is your favorite blouse/shirt pattern?

    1. Thanks, Justine, the jeans came from White House Black Market. I love how they fit and found another pair on sale for less than $30, so I have two pair now!
