McCall's 6992 - Mint, Black and White

I made this great sweatshirt pattern for Meredith a month ago
McCall's 6992 from Girl Charlee fabric

This time is was Kaitlyn's turn.

I had Kaitlyn head over to Girl Charlee for fabric choices.  She went with this great Triangle Arrow ponte knit for the body of the sweatshirt and the mint spandex knit for the sleeves and necklnie

I didn't add quite so much to the sleeves for Kaitlyn's sweatshirt, her arms are just a bit shorter.  I do love letting my daughters pick out their own fabric.  They just see color combinations from an entirely different perspective.  Isn't the mint with the black/white geometric print great?

I do enjoy sewing for my daughters and love a quick project.  These sweatshirts are easy to make and don't take much time but they are right on trend.
