Monkey Bread Recipe

One person asked for the recipe I used for Monkey Bread. Thought I would post it here, others might enjoy it, I know my family does. It is gone!!

Monkey Bread
2/3 c. Sugar 3-4 tubes refrigerator biscuits
1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the biscuits into fourths. Combine sugar, cinnamon and place in a large Ziploc bag. Add biscuits and shake in the bag until coated. Butter a bundt pan or angel food cake pan and fill the pan with biscuits. Melt brown sugar and butter; pour over biscuits. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown. Remove from pan to large plate placing upside down. Cool, cut and serve.
I usually have to cover the monkey bread with foil to keep it from getting too brown on the top.
Enjoy.

  1. I came over from *creative daisy*. I've made monkey bread (different name) and it's SO good. Since you like gardening (vegetable?) you might like my zucchini noodles recipe on my blog :)

  2. I've done something similar, but in a muffin pan w/nuts and not with the br sugar and butter, I'll have to try that.
