Donny Shirt - Fourth Time

My fourth Donny Shirt by Friday Pattern Company and it is another favorite.  The fabric is a tencel blend from Minerva with the most amazing drape.  My previous Donny shirts have been from a shirting, woven embroidered and a linen.  Those fabrics don't have much drape so when this one was finished it just felt and looked so good. It might be my favorite one yet but then I look back at my other three  and think well I really love them all!  

The Donny Shirt is a great pattern to sew when your sewing time is limited.  It goes together quickly and I think the end result looks like you spent much more time making it.

I usually do not get a newly released pattern done so quickly but look at me.  I had to buy the Donny Shirt by Friday Pattern Company and I had the perfect fabric for it.

Union St. Tee - My Favorite T-shirt Pattern

I am not sure how many times I have made this pattern but whenever I want to make a t-shirt this is the pattern I reach for.  That pattern is the Union St. Tee by Hey June and the fabric is a knit from Minerva, which I purchased the same time as the tencel for the Donny Shirt in a previous post.

I didn't have any ribbing to match so I decided to go with a big contrast and I love the results.  Just adds a pop to the neckline and perks it up.

Here are my other Union St. Tees  You will see on my earlier versions I favored the scoop neck but now it is exclusively crew neck.
