I purchased this stripe fabric from Joann's and knew it needed some embroidery.
I went with a design from the mySewnet library which you cand see here
I changed the colors just a bit for the look I wanted, more of a transition to fall
The pattern is the Anthea Blouse (made a couple times before ) and for this one I eliminated the front closure and added back slit. The Anthea had all the elements I wanted in the blouse but just needed a solid front for the embroidery design.
I like how it turned out and the fabric was perfect for embroidery.
