Wingspan Top - The Sewing Revival

Big sleeves are my favorite thing and this new pattern has just that.

The Sewing Revival just released the Wingspan Top and I was gifted the pattern to sew it up.  The top needed a fabric with drape.  I don't have a big stash but I did have this perfect rayon twill from
LA Finch, purchased some time ago.

Only thing is to make sure not to use a directional fabric.  There is no shoulder seams, so this is one continuous piece, only seam is the side seams.  The neckline is finished one of two ways, a facing or bias binding.  I went with bias.

As per the instructions, my side seams area sewn with a French seam.  With the large sleeves, the French seams keeps it all looking neat.

I did had 2 inches to the length and I made a small.
