Top Refashion - Ogden Cami

Time for a refashion, a top which has lots of embroidered details and I love those details but the top wasn't getting worn.  I decided to refashion it into a Ogden Cami.

Here is the original top and it looks great on but you cannot raise your arms, the sleeves really limit the motion.  When you do get the arms lifted, then you can see right down the top.  (McCall's 7780)

I did have to cut the top the other way, so the roses are in a different direction, from the sleeves I was able to cut the straps.

The hem was short and thanks to a suggestion from @gmariesews I used bias binding for the hem

This is the first time ever I made the Ogden.  I am going to make it a bit smaller in the bust and hips.  Also, I will make the straps a bit shorter.

All in all I am thrilled to have a garment that I will wear instead of just admiring it my closet
