I was asked by Beth to test out the new Cole's Corner and Creations Pattern - Spirit Jacket and available on Craftsy. I am a little late to the party, went to Nashville for several days a couple of weeks ago and then Iowa last week. This week has been catch up but I did squeeze a night in for sewing.
This is such a great jacket pattern and a quick sew. I went with a size 3 for my little guy (aka grandson) who is almost 18 months and wearing 2T. I think this is the perfect size for him with room to grow. Plus it is great for running!
The fabric is a performance knit from Joann's, I so impressed with this fabric. I went with the fleece side to the wrong side and the wind resistant side on the right side. The collar, wrist bands and waist band is a rib knit from Joann's also.
I added the little patch in the front, the all black front needed something. I do think his mom might want me to take that off and embroidery our school name and mascot. I think this would be so cute for the home football games.
He loved his jacket so much after the photo shoot, he would not take it off! After all, you can dig in the grass with the Spirit Jacket and stay cozy warm
The look and fit of the jacket makes it a winner, add to the great size range 6 mos to 16. It will fit many little people in your family or one person for years to come.
