Renfrew Shirt in Abstract Print

If I like a pattern, I tend to use it over and over again.  That is Sewaholic's Renfrew shirt, I have made several garments from this pattern.

I recently purchased this Mood Fabrics' red and black abstract matte jersey and thought it was perfect for the Renfrew.

The Renfrew fits so well and it is quick to sew, which at the time I just needed to sew something.

Here is the shirt layered with a black long sleeve tshirt underneath (trying to implement some of the things Ella taught me)

It is great like this but I layered it up just a bit for our wonderful 50 degree Sunday (as I type this it is 0 degrees Monday evening).

I took off the belt for a day out with my mom, the belt just looked funny.   The sweater was perfect for the pretty day but most of the time I will wear it just like this

I have some red ponte to make a cardigan/jacket which is a way down my sewing stack.  I think the red ponte jacket will look good with my houndstooth dress from a couple days ago.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, it is a great pattern. Just takes one time, to get the fit just right for you and then after that so quick to sew.

This looks great! I thought you had done longer, contrasting cuffs, but how fun to layer it on top of a solid shirt!
