Sequin Datura Blouse

I had a bit more of the Italian faux sequin brocade left from my holiday top and thought it would be a great top for Erin.

I just couldn't let this beautiful fabric go to waste.  I saw in my fabric closet a black knit which looked great with the sequin brocade.

I picked Deer and Doe's Datura Blouse for the fabric combination.

The bodice is the sequin fabric

For the back, I omitted the button band and cut on the center back (using a fold)

Here is the front of the top

This was a very rewarding a quick project.  I always love using up small scraps of beautiful fabric and this top was the perfect answer for the sequin fabric.
