Snicker Bar Cookies

Want a delicious cookie recipe?  Kaitlyn just made these on Sunday and they are incredible, so I thought I would share.

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup softened margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1. tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
2 pkg. Snickers mini bars

Cream sugars and margarine.  Stir in eggs; mis in peanut butter, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add in flour.  Form balls of dough around 1/2 cut-up Snickers bar.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.  Can flatten after baking with a spatula right after taking out of oven.  (Recipe from my mother-in-law's church - their 100 anniversary this year.)

  1. This sounds delicious. Unfortunately after looking at my blog photos, I decided Weight Watchers was in the plan for me, so no cookies for a little longer, but not too much longer!

  2. My thoughts exactly - don't even dare to think how many points in one of these - but I am sure everyone enjoyed them.

  3. Oh my! Snickers are our favorite candy bar, and I just have to try these - thanks for the recipe! P.S. If I eat these with Diet Coke, do the calories cancel each other out?

  4. The cookies look so good!!! I wonder how many weight watchers points I would have to spend on one cookie? Well sometimes it is worth every single point!!!!
