Hot Patterns Riveria Jacket

I will write a review later at Pattern review and link it in this review but for now just a quick post with the pictures of my jacket, the Hot Patterns Riveria Jacket

First of all thanks to Gigi for her pictures and tutorials on this jacket, these were so helpful in constructing my jacket.

The fabric is a double knit, a bit on the lighter side but works fine for this jacket.

I was taking advantage of the last of this daylight on these short winter days, so you get a bit of shadows and some wrinkles.

I am going to make this again, probably in a bit beefier knit.

Now off to bake my last batch of cookies.

  1. I love this jacket but always wonder if it would work on someone chesty. So curious to see if you like when you wear it. Love the color.

I love how the knit fabric makes this rather casual. Nice job!

  3. It is interesting to see this made in a knit. I would think it would feel relaxed when wearing it, not stiff and uptight like a wool or denim jacket. That idea appeals to me. A very nice addition to your wardrobe.

  8. Terrific jacket, Lori. I love that pattern. I made that jacket also, but I used a wool woven. I intend to make it again, maybe in a double-knit.
