Hurray - I Finished It!

The birthdays are over, did I mention in addition to the twins on the 11th, hubby's is on the 12th, so we had a weekend of birthdays. I can't believe Christmas is only 8 days away but I finished son-in-law's stocking two days ago. I have made the felt stockings, from kits for everyone in the family (several years ago), so Jesse needed one of these. I bought this kit at an after-Christmas sale with the intention of working on it a little at a time. What do they say about good intentions? Anyway, I have worked diligently the last week on the stocking and nothing else, my hard work paid off.

Here it is and yes, he has a motorcycle, so this stocking is perfect.

Now I can get back to sewing on my winter coat.

  7. A dear friend made stockings from kits like yours for my kids when they were born. They've held up beautifully and I love that she made them. I'm sure Jesse will feel the same way.
