Lori - the yellow flower coming up is a Calla Lily. They used to only be found white. I just post a picture of my sock laying in a bunch of mine.
If you don't like it - get it up now! They will multiply all over the yard. We originally planted 2 starts from my aunt back by our pond, I now have 5 bunchs of calla lilies around my yard - 3 of them not where I put them! Very pretty though. g
Yeah, that yellow one is definitely not a dalia! It is pretty regardless, though. Mine are still growing in so I don't expect them to flower until late July. Ah, I love being up North! ;)
