Round Robin Quilt

I have mentioned my quilt club and our projects.  This latest quilt is right up there with one of my very favorites. This one is round robin style and each month the owner of the quilt shop had pattern for the next border/section.

The first month was the middle block and we were told to purchase about 5 yards of a background fabric.  I selected a gray for my background

Anyone in the mood for dresses?  Hope so that is what we are doing today!

Vogue 8840 - Stripe knit

I really like to sew knits and sometimes use them when the pattern calls for a woven.  Vogue 8840 is such a pattern but I loved the look of the top.  The fabric recommendations are synthetic suede, charmeuse and men's
suiting.  I went with a lighter weight, lycra/cotton knit.
