McCall's 7121 for Kaitlyn

McCall's 7121 side view

A new dress for Kaitlyn, the fabric was really on sale at Joann's and I couldn't pass up.

The pattern is McCall's 7121 and I cut the front and back on the fold.  I did have a bit of an oops, bet you see it, right?  The skirt and bodice center fronts don't quite match up.  I should of checked it a bit more thoroughly but that is the way it happens sometimes,

The back looks a bit better.

And here is the neckline with self fabric binding.  The knit fabric was a Nicole Miller design and the entire dress was $10.

Kaitlyn will enjoy this one now with layers and in the summer, too.

  3. I think adding a sash will hide the mismatch for sure.
