Tree Climber Trousers in Corduroy

I made these pants first here for the little guy and he really wears them lots.  Another pair was needed and corduroy was the choice.

Here are some action shots.

Front view of the pants.

Can I play you a tune?

How did you like my song?

You are still taking my picture?

I did use some cotton fabric to line the bottom of the pants.  The color of the cotton and the corduroy is quite similar so they look nice together.  The little guy is a bit short for his age but I am a firm believer in having the extra length. With the bottom of the pants lined, the pants look good rolled up but as he grows the rolled up part will get smaller and smaller.  I did use this same fabric for the belt loops. The corduroy was very thick and I had better success with the cotton.

And finally, Nana, you don't want these quilts in this cabinet, let's rearrange them!

I just love this pattern and this style.

  1. So precious! Such a great little pair of pants, the lining and belt loops in cotton are really a nice touch.

These are so sweet! I love the lining at the cuffs-- great idea!

  3. Lori I love those pants. But the best part is seeing that sweet little boy!!!!! He sure does look like your girls doesn't he?! I can't wait till my little bundle arrives in April. Enjoy and give him lots of snuggles and kisses!

  4. What a busy little guy! The pants look great. I really like the extra touch of the cotton lining and belt loops. He must be so much fun to have around!

  5. He is so cute....and curious......those pants are great....good idea for lining the bottom of the legs.
