Since I finished it, Christmas present exchanging in the family has been changed so now I won't be exchanging presents with one of the intended receipients. I'll have to work that out. :-) Other than that, I have a lined woolen spencer as work in progress for my niece. <BR/><BR/>Your living room is very pretty. I have put up some decorations - four "Christmas hearts" (http://www.historie-online.dk/special/jul/pynt_hjertekugle.htm) - they are usually made out of colourful glazed paper cut out and weaved together. It is one of the most traditional things in Danish Christmas decoration. According to tradition, Hans Christian Andersen should have invented it - no-one knows if its true but the oldest known heart dates back to 1861 and is made by him. I have four hearts made in fabric backed with fusible interfacing - they last so much better. :-) <BR/><BR/>The hearts can go from very simple with two "legs" to weave up to large complicated patterns: http://www.duda.dk/Grundfag/Kristendom/Jul/juleklip/julehjerter/julehjerter.html - at this page you can find visual instructions as well.Anne Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05814583669172755167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33406737.post-9455751726214218842008-12-04T22:40:00.000-06:002008-12-04T22:40:00.000-06:00That is such a great picture!
